Edmund is one of my favorite characters from the story of Narnia. Edmund is the third child in Pevensie family. Edmunds is one of the main characters who develop the most over the track of story. Edmund is my favorite character in all Narnia series. Edmund has three siblings: Peter as the oldest brother, Susan as the older sister, and Lucy as the younger sister.

            The story of the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe began when Edmund’s mother sent Edmund with his siblings far away from home to London. They finally lived with an old professor who has a very big house. In the story, Edmund became an important feature or character who covered all parts of the story. Edmund was just a young child who has his own perspective about something visual. Edmunds had tried to show himself with each characteristic he has on the story.

            The four characteristics of Edmund were complainer, jealous, selfish, and a nice person at the end. As a complainer, Edmunds often made some complaint about things that happened. As a result, he constantly receives reprimands from his older brother, Peter. Edmunds was a jealous person who holds something against his siblings after the white witch convinces him that he would be a prince one day. His desires to become princes lead him to betray his siblings. Edmunds was a selfish one. However, as the story goes on, his characters changed to be a nice person. After Edmund realized about his mistakes, he joined Aslan to fight against the white witch. Edmund had finally become a rescuer for Narnia.

            Based on the story of Narnia, I concluded that Edmunds’s character was dynamic. His characteristic changed from a bad person to a nice person. After he realized about his horror and evil, he has applied himself to give everything to others. Edmund’s character focuses on an awareness or consciousness on himself. Edmund consolidates his reformation by join with his brother’s army against the witch. A completed reformed Edmunds was crowned to the great western wood by Aslan as a King Edmund the Just.
